Don’t forget the Place Bet

Coming off such a great result for our first selection yesterday (52% Strike Rate) where we achieved 12 winners out of 23 races, today we saw a very small number of our first tip have a win, however did you notice that you would have just about broken even using place bets. With the 37 races the total place dividends came to $35.30.  But remember being a good punter means you bet on only the races you are confident on, it is incredibly difficult to bet on everything and expect to have a win.

My Nonna always said to me $1 a win and $2 a place, now reaching 93 years of age, she still enjoys a punt.
